Stung Treng Province: Stung Treng Provincial Police this morning, October 5, 2022, announced to people to check more than 30 motorcycles that are being stored in the Provincial Police if you know and have the correct identity documents. Owners of motorcycles that have been lost in the past will be handed over by the authorities.

Major General Ot Sivutha, Stung Treng Provincial Police Commissioner, confirmed that the motorcycle was confiscated from the pawn shop in Stung Treng City, led by the Provincial Prosecutor's Office. On October 3, 2022.

The Major General confirmed that there are 6 pawnshops: 1- LST pawnshops confiscated 28 motorcycles, 2- Vichet Raksmey, male, 30 years old, located in Trapeang Pring Village, Sangkat / Stung Treng City / Province: 3-Pawn Shop of Rim Siphan, Female, 52 years old, in Reacheanukul Village, Sangkat / Municipality / Province of Stung Treng, 3 motorbikes with mortgage documents, In Prek Village, Sangkat, Stung Treng Province, there were two McWave motorbikes with tickets for sale, but no tax was confiscated by the police. The other two locations did not have any pawnshops.

The lieutenant general said that after the motorcycle was confiscated, the police sent it to the provincial police and informed the people who lost the motorcycle in the past, please verify the documents if it is their motorcycle and will be accepted. The motorcycles returned, while the unclaimed motorcycles were sent to court to continue the proceedings.

It should be noted that in the past, in Stung Treng province, many people have lost their motorbikes, which are rarely found. In particular, for the inspection of the place to buy, sell and receive pawns, our people are very happy because it is a mechanism that can prevent motorcycle theft from happening again and people who know their motorcycles will be taken back.
