Phnom Penh: A man seems to be very sleepy and drove a Highlander car up the Stung Meanchey flyover and oversteered to hit a rock barrier, splitting the road completely, causing three wheels to break out of the lane, and the car caused damage Seriously.

The accident happened at 11:30 pm on September 30, 2022 at the point on the Stung Meanchey flyover along Street 271 in Sangkat Stung Meanchey II, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

According to sources at the scene, prior to the incident, a black Highlander with license plate Phnom Penh 2Z-9341, driven by a man, was seen traveling along Route 271 from north to south at high speed and likely Tai Kong was too sleepy when he oversteered and hit a rock barrier, splitting the road on the Stung Meanchey flyover completely, causing two wheels to break and one wheel to fall out of the lane, while the car caused one round of the road to stop in the middle. The road caused a lot of surprises and traffic jams for passengers. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the incident.

Immediately after the incident, Tai Kong, the car that caused the accident, escaped and asked a friend to collect important items in the car to save. After that, the local police arrived and cooperated with the district traffic experts to measure the vehicle and store it, waiting for the legal settlement later.
