Po Sen Chey District Unity Command Cracked Down on Internet Gambling, 7 Arrested
Phnom Penh: Forces of Po Sen Chey District Unity Command cracked down on a Chinese online gambling site, arrested 7 people, 1 female, confiscated 38 TV heads.
The transaction took place at 3:45 pm on September 30, 2022 at the Skynet Internet Café in New Town, Prey Tea 1 Village, Sangkat Choam Chao III, Khan Por Sen Chey.
In accordance with the high recommendation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia has issued a decision for the authorities in all 25 provinces to crack down on all types of illegal gambling sites throughout the country.
After receiving the decision from the Royal Government, the authorities spread the word about opening all kinds of illegal gambling and also used to introduce the above house. 7 Chinese nationals, 1 female, confiscated 38 TV sets.
At present, the seven people and the confiscated materials have been handed over to the Por Sen Chey District Military Police for questioning at the procedural headquarters, and the authorities have decided to temporarily close the shop.
